Our Team
Eric Isenhart
Eric grew up in Gilpin County, spending his childhood sleeping under the stars in the Indian Peaks, and developing a deep, lifelong love for the Clear Creek watershed. Today, as Watershed Coordinator for the Clear Creek Watershed & Forest Health Partnership, he brings that personal connection to his work.
A former banker, Eric spent years evaluating complex commercial loans, conducting financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and risk assessments across energy, real estate, agriculture, and industry. He left banking to pursue conservation project management, leading the Truckee Donner Land Trust's $9 million Webber Lake project in Northern California. He holds a B.S. in Finance from MSU Denver and completed graduate energy studies at CU Boulder's Leeds School of Business.
Eric also serves as a credit analyst for the Forest and Water Renewal Fund, an alternative financing mechanism developed by the Partnership's fiscal sponsor Coalitions & Collaboratives, Inc., connecting conservation priorities with strategic financing.
For fun, Eric can be found exploring the backcountry on skis, backpacking remote ridgelines, four-wheeling through the high country, and adventuring through it all with his dogs Daisy and Pennelope by his side.
Kelby Woodard
Kelby holds a M.S. in Ecology and a B.S. in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University. His thesis research focused on the growth and defense characteristics of ponderosa pine trees following wildfires and thinning treatments along Colorado’s Front Range.
Born and raised in Colorado, Kelby has witnessed significant changes across the landscape ranging from a rapidly growing wildland-urban interface to increased severity and size of ecological disturbances. His love for the outdoors has led him to pursue various seasonal jobs with the Forest Service, working in both the management and research sides of forestry.
Kelby aims to bridge the gap between science and management, striving to effectively communicate the importance of forest management activities to enhance forest health and reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfires.
For fun, Kelby enjoys many outdoor activities such as bagging peaks, sending climbs, shredding powder, and winning kickball championships.
